Version 6 GFS. Come join CCOF to learn about the various certification options within the GLOBALG,A.P. standard, requirements and how to prepare your operation for the transition to GLOBALGAP Version 6 audit in the 2025 season. GLOBALG.A.P. IFA v6 GFS is mandatory starting 1/1/2025.
Course description: Using training materials designed by the GLOBALG.A.P. Registered Trainer program along with a range of other training materials and resources, this course is designed to provide a comprehensive review of the principles and criteria of the IFA v6 Plants GFS FV standard. Topics include but are not limited to: Updates on GLOBALG.A.P. v6 General Regulations and Normative Documents, Review of transition resources offered by GLOBALG.A.P., Detailed review of the IFA v6 checklist, principles and compliance criteria and how these are now organized. Questions, discussions and student activities will be included throughout. As time allows and as needed by the group we may choose to add or dig deeper into specific topics.
Intended Audiences: Producers, Operations Managers, Supplier Program Managers, Industry Professionals, Retailers and GLOBALG.A.P. G.A.P. Auditors who would like to gain in-depth and updated knowledge of the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance Standard and who wish to become better acquainted with the new IFA v6 GFS Plants standard.
A GLOBALG.A.P. IFA v6 Registered Trainer Program Certificate will be awarded upon completion of the course.
Short Bio-Profile for Astrid H. Goplen:
Originally from Denmark and holding a MSc in Agricultural Science from University of Copenhagen, Astrid has over 25 years of experience in North American agricultural industries with focus on fresh produce and combinable crops. Astrid started out her time in the USA Involved in graduate student programs in crop pest management at Washington State University. Astrid has kept involved with the crop research communities in her state, while specializing for over two decades as a professional pest management consultant for perennial crop growers. For the past 15 years Astrid has incorporated playing an active role in the field of implementation of food safety programs, environmental sustainability programs and social responsibility programs; including in roles as auditor, certification body GAP program scheme manager, auditor trainer and public trainer. Astrid holds a position as CCOF as Senior Food Safety Certification Specialist. She is qualified via the GLOBALG.A.P. organization as GLOBALG.A.P. Registered Trainer.
