The role of community banks in addressing economic disparities underscores the importance of economic investment in communities of color and lower income census tracts. We will discuss the mission and goals of community banks and their role in helping to mitigate economic inequality and injustice. Some of the ways we will discuss include financial education, specialized lending programs, and community support for non-profit organizations assisting in these goals.

Over 39 years of service as a community banker, April Donahue is focused on meeting the needs of bank customers and helping them achieve their financial goals. She is deeply interested in helping individuals achieve their dream of homeownership so they can build generationalwea lth for their families.
She holds master’s in business administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degrees from Delaware Valley University, as well as Associates in Bank Management from Bucks County Community College.
Ms. Donahue is active in Montgomery County and serves on several organization.
