About this Event
Join our parallel event to mark the seventieth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) in New York. In line with this year's theme, 'ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including by promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices, and addressing structural barriers', our speakers will showcase systemic policy and legal work.
You will hear from expert leaders from The Vavengers, African Women's Rights Advocates, Vital Voices, Femmes for Freedom, The Girl Generation, and more on what health & legal strategies are being used to end Gender-Based violence globally.
We will also screen two inspiring short films showcasing survivor-led work on ending GBV and welcome you to enjoy a networking session with lunch & drinks served, where you can talk to colleagues from around the world.
Please note, this is a high-security event, and a photo ID will be required at the reception to access the building.
