Glacier Bae is a grown & sexy winter social experience designed for connection, conversation, and cool energy. Hosted by Please Don’t Irk Me, the event takes place at the iconic Blue Cross RiverRink, blending icy aesthetics with cozy lounge vibes for an elevated winter night out.
This is a mixer-style event that encourages organic interaction no pressure, no forced programming. Guests can move freely between the ice skating rink and the lodge lounge, whether you’re skating, sipping cocktails, or settling into conversation with someone new.
With a DJ setting the mood and a live host guiding the flow of the night, Glacier Bae is perfect for date night, solo guests, or groups looking for a stylish, relaxed social atmosphere. Expect a fashionable crowd, smooth sounds, and an experience that feels intentional and effortless.

Concession Hours
Vendors open at 4 pm Monday through Friday, and 11 am on Saturday and Sunday. Hours are subject to change.
Please note: Vendors close 60 minutes before the park closes. Skating closes 30 minutes before the park closes. Park hours are subject to change.
The Lodge
Enjoy tasty, seasonal fare in our warm winter Lodge, featuring festive decor in a selfie-worthy atmosphere. The Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest bar will provide creative winter cocktails and draft beer. Seating is first-come, first-served. Dogs are not allowed inside the Lodge, but service animals are welcome.
Philly Tacos
Located in the Lodge, enjoy delicious Mexican street food from Philly Tacos. From tacos to nachos and Elote (street corn), dive into various delicious dishes that will tease your taste buds.
Chickie's & Pete's
Warm up in the Lodge while enjoying mouth-watering Philly fare from Chickie's & Pete's featuring their signature Crabfries and cheesesteaks.
Skelly's Pizza Port, Rinkside Funnel Cake, and Dippers Ice Cream
Share a whole pizza or enjoy a slice from Skelly's Pizza Port in the Lodge. Adjacent to the Lodge, satisfy your craving for classic carnival fare with hot Funnel cake, fried Oreos, and ice cream at Skelly's Rinkside Funnel Cake and Dippers Ice Cream. A perfect post-skating snack.
The Lodge Bar(s)
Offering winter warmers like hot chocolate and coffee, a nice selection of domestic, imported, and seasonal beers, and cold-weather favorites from Jacquin’s and Maker’s Mark, the Lodge Bar(s) has something for everyone! The menu selection is subject to change. You must be 21+ to consume alcohol
