Sweden's greatest vibraphonist! Jazzmeccano, grill, dish rack, xylophone - dear child has many names. Vibraphone is the more official. Obviously inspired by Terry Gibbs' "The Dream Band" and a diligent interpreter of that repertoire
Mattias has played with most people in Swedish jazz, and is recognized from among others Loney dear, Yttling Jazz, Magnus Carlson&The Moon Ray Quintet, Per Texas Johansson and not least from his collaboration with Georg Riedel.

TERRY GIBBS "THE DREAM BAND"
Vibraphonist Terry Gibbs – composer in jazz and one of those who established the vibraphone as a spectacular but natural jazz instrument! For a number of years from the end of the 50s, leader and frontman of the famous "The Dream Band" who, like GJO, often played on Mondays in order to be able to have the best from the Hollywood jazz scene, for example with another jazz icon on the drum chair - Mel Lewis.
GÖTEBORG JAZZ ORCHESTRA is one of the most exciting movements in Swedish jazz. The big band has made a rocket career and in a short time established on the highest level. In their love to music they always look for new expressions and they attract collaborations with the best musicians - domestic and abroad. They often reach over the genre barriers with new formats. The first Monday every month Göteborg Jazz Orchestra performs under the motto "Jazz is fun!" GJO promotes jazz music in Göteborg, always plays great music, encouraging young talents and presents interesting guests and themes!
