About this Event
A Studio Rawanee Gathering centering peace & light
This in-person gathering marks the launch of Studio Rawanee - a practice-based extension of Rawanee’s wider literary and community work.
Studio Rawanee focuses on creative resilience through guided reflection, writing, and facilitated conversation. It offers a structured space to think clearly, engage thoughtfully, and develop creative expression in response to real-life pressures and responsibilities.
Held within Rawanee’s February - March themes of Salām wa Nūr (peace and illumination) - inspired by Ramadan, this evening will bring together selected poetry, reflective writing, and a simple creative exercise to explore women’s strength, discernment, and voice.
The session will include:
- Curated poetry and short readings
- Guided writing prompts
- A structured creative reflection activity
- Moderated storytelling and discussion
No prior artistic experience is required.
Participation in sharing is always optional.
Studio Rawanee builds on Rawanee’s established Mehfil gatherings and publications, offering a more practice-oriented space for creative development and reflection.
Spaces are limited.
