About this Event
Get Ready for Success: wellbeing, inclusion and disability support at university
An opportunity for learners in year 12, school, college or sixth form, to find out more about the support universities offer learners with additional needs. During this day, you can expect:
- To hear about disclosure - why it is important to disclose and why it is beneficial to you.
- Interactive sessions - trialling the assistive technology available to you to make study more accessible.
- A campus tour - demonstrating accessibility of the university.
- An in-depth conversation with Student Ambassadors from Aimhigher London partner universities - a lived experience.
- To find out more about the Disabled Students Allowance - how to apply and access additional support when at university.
You are welcome to come on your own or if you'd like, bring a parent, teacher or another friend! School groups are welcome too.
