Join us in April for an enjoyable Get Crafty session at Woodcroft Library and discover the craft of Pebble Art!
Let's explore the Woodcroft Morphett Vale Neighbourhood Centre Community Garden to collect nature's materials including flowers, autumn leaves, sticks, rocks and anything you like to create a beautiful piece of art work; either a bookmark, greeting card or poster.
Whats is nature art? Nature art is artwork that depicts, interprets, or incorporates elements of the natural world, often exploring the beauty, processes, and philosophical significance of nature. Artistic creations are made from items found in nature including leaves, sticks, bark, pebbles, seedpods, nuts, berries, petals, sand amd shells. The options are endless... anything in nature can be used.
Please be advised that this activity will involve the use of E6000 adhesive and glue guns.

Materials: All materials are supplied and participants can take home their creations.

Get crafty is bookable exactly 2 weeks before the event at 10am Wednesday 15th April.
If you are sick, please do not attend and call the library to cancel your ticket.

- Wednesday 27th May 10am-12pm - Get Crafty with Paint and Coffee Watercolour ($5 Materials fee)
- Wednesday 24th June 10am-12pm - Get Crafty with Pride: Air Dry Clay (Free)
- Wednesday 24th June 10am-12pm - Get Crafty: Make a Bag out of Jeans ($10 Materials fee), facilitated by Wild Woman of Willunga in collaboration with Sustainable Onkaparinga and the Willunga Environment Centre
These workshops may not be viewable currently on Eventbrite, but they will be closer to the date.
