About this Event
Please meet at the entrance to Hopes Nose where we will be ready to go at 6pm. We will aim finish the walk at around 8pm though we may be delayed if we go off on geological tangents! This walk is around 1.5km (1 mile) in length with around 70m of climbing; a reasonable level of fitness is required to complete the walk comfortably.
Rich is a local geologist and teacher, who has been interested in the rocks of Torbay and south Devon since he was young. He now runs Taleblazers, a community interest company based around storytelling, natural history, folklore and heritage.
No geological knowledge is needed for this walk, just an interest in the rocks that make up this stunning part of the world. Numbers are strictly limited for your safety and to allow us to pitch our descriptions at your level.
