About this Event
We will review a number of topics and local issues within Camden, but that may be relevant to wider areas. Each of our free workshops are centred around a different topic, so do partake accordingly and we will provide trigger warnings. We aim to create a fun, vibrant space to nurture diversity and create an intergenerational and creative Generation of Creation.
Session dates and topics are at the bottom of this text, please select accordingly and add to your calendars.
Please cancel your spot if you can no longer attend, this helps us to better plan our sessions.
Refreshments are provided.
Do let us know if you have any access needs or dietary requirements (socials below)
Old Diorama Arts Centre is on 201 Drummond Street. The entrance is opposite the Impact Hub and Gym Group on Triton Square, and you will see a sign out front or the venue name on the glass exterior. We will be in the Neighbourhood Studio from 7pm-9pm on various Tuesdays from April to July (ask at reception if you need help, this is upstairs after you turn right then left and left after the door).
Participants will have the chance to perform in sessions, as well as build creative skills. Please do be respectful as discussion and friendly discourse around the topics is encouraged both creatively and professionally.
We are also opening up the opportunity to have your work used as a form of advocacy. If you are comfortable with your work being shared with wider services (council, police, charities and/or otherwise according to the session topic) to create change! Please let Hdayet know and he will arrange this to be shared on our social media (with you tagged of course) or otherwise.
Our social media account is @generationcreationgc on Instagram. Please do follow us or message there for any enquiries!
We would also love if you can provide feedback at the end of our sessions! We will have a form ready but if you prefer to speak to one of our leads then preferably speak to Hdayet (safeguarding lead for workshops) but Aya will also be available for feedback if absolutely necessary.
The passion and planning behind this project has been a key motivator for our work and we are so proud to be presenting our efforts to the creative and local communities. This work would not have been possible without the funding from Camden Giving and the venue space at Old Diorama Arts Centre. We also thank everyone that shared our workshops to their connections.
We hope to see you at one of our workshops, to be a part of Generation Creation!
