About this Event
Saree.com presents Garba in the City is Chicago’s very own celebration of Navratri, launched in 2023 to bring the vibrant festival to our community. Last year, we gathered 1,000 people to join in the festivities, and we’re excited to welcome an even larger crowd this year.
As with last year, the first two hours of the event will be dedicated to children under 12, featuring a Garba instructor, snacks, and arts and crafts to keep the little ones engaged. The success of last year’s event allowed us to donate all profits to support acid burn victims in India. This year, we are proud to announce that all proceeds will be donated to the Pratham Education Foundation, an organization committed to improving the quality of education for underprivileged children in India.
