What's more Chicago than a game of 16-inch softball on Memorial Day weekend? How about a game of softball hosted at main diamond in Union Park, complete with hot dogs and beverages, right before a show at Cobra Lounge headlined by Chicago's Premiere Anti-Fascist Rock and Roll experience, Blind Adam and The Federal League! All are invited to take part in Soothsayer Hot Sauce and Blind Adam and the Federal League's Sunday Softball Spectacular. An unforgettable Sunday Funday if there ever was one.
All registrants for the softball portion of the day's events will receive the following:
\-A locally screen-printed jersey shirt in their size
\-Complimentary Soft (and hard) drinks at the game
\-Complimentary Grilled hot dog (veggie dogs available)
Starting at 2pm participants are welcome to come warm up, take batting practice, and pregame for the big game. Around 4 we'll start the game itself, playing a full 9 innings before walking down the street to Cobra for the show. Teams will be drafted, dingers will be socked, and glory to be had for the winning team. But let's be real: we're all winners for spending our Sunday as our lord and savior Dennehy intended. All families and guests are welcome to attend and cheer you on!
