The arts are all about ingenuity, innovation, creativity and resilience. In a typical season, the Straz Center hosts two highly anticipated fundraisers: Broadway Ball and Opera Tampa Grand Gala. This season, hurricanes Helene and Milton have inspired us to forge a new path to a new evening of elegance celebrating the performing arts – Gala for the Straz Center.The Gala will salute the very best of what we do – Broadway, opera, dance, music, arts education – and raise vital funds for these world-class programs that lift our spirits and enrich our community.
The evening will feature a cocktail reception with a silent auction, a gourmet dinner and a live auction on Morsani Hall stage and outstanding live performances throughout the night. Guests can cap off the evening with desserts and dancing in Morsani lobby.
Gala for the Straz Center is presented by the Klingel Family Foundation and TSE Industries and the Himes Family.
