About this Event
FWE Early Childhood Education Seminar
The Forum for World Education (FWE) is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing dialogue at the intersection of education, society, and the future workforce, bringing together leaders from education, policy, and business worldwide.
Guided by the principle “Today’s Children, Tomorrow’s Leaders,” the FWE Early Childhood Education Seminar examines how young children can be prepared for future challenges through the shared roles of educators and parents in early development.
The program brings together perspectives from school leadership and global education policy, featuring contributions from John Allman (former Head of School, Trinity School), Susan K. Sclafani (former Assistant Secretary of Education, U.S. Department of Education) and Andreas Schleicher (Director for Education and Skills, OECD). The seminar is designed as a reflective dialogue rather than a traditional conference, connecting professional insight with lived family experiences.
The seminar also includes a parent panel sharing real-world perspectives on nurturing young learners, and opportunities to hear children’s voices. Together, participants will explore how early learning environments—across schools, homes, and communities—shape children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development, supporting lifelong learning and well-being.
We kindly ask that guests arrive on time. The seminar will begin promptly at 1:00 PM, and late entry may be disruptive to speakers and the audience.
