About this Event
The future of Woolwich is a priority for the council. We believe future development should deliver positive change and our neighbourhoods should be vibrant, safe and sustainable.
We want you views on what you think the challenges are in Woolwich and what’s most valuable to you. Your feedback will help shape a shared vision and strategic plan, known as an urban regeneration framework, for future growth and opportunities over the next 10 years.
We’ve already invested heavily in Woolwich, including the new Woolwich Waves leisure centre, improvements to Beresford Square and Powis Street, and support for cultural venues like Woolwich Works and Tramshed. Now we want to build on this with a clear plan for the future.
We want new development to bring positive change and help make Woolwich an even better place to live, work and visit. We’ve appointed Something Collective to speak with local people and gather your views.
