Funny Women Amsterdam Presents: Comedy & Games Night!

This isn't your average evening—it's an interactive show that blends stand-up comedy and outlandish host-led games. It’s about equal representation, but it’s also about that specific vibration that happens when someone says something true, and everyone laughs at the exact same time. It makes the world feel slightly less fragmented.

Sometimes I think the most romantic thing you can do is just stand in a room with strangers and admit that life is confusing and occasionally very funny.

If you don’t have a date, or if your date is just a very specific playlist and a bag of chips, or if you’re coming with a group of friends who have seen you at your absolute weirdest—this is your room. You don't have to perform "happiness." You just have to show up and let the laughter do the heavy lifting.

Let’s just sit in the dark and be human for a while. It’s better than a box of chocolates.

This show is divided into two halves designed for maximum fun and variety:

The evening kicks off with pure stand-up comedy. Our open mic is the perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of live comedy, discover emerging talents, and support a movement dedicated to equal representation on the comedy stage.

After the break, the focus shifts to our performers and audience volunteers tackling bizarre, host-led tasks. Watch comedy stars compete in hilarious challenges using strange props and quick wits!

Since 2019, Funny Women Amsterdam has been a home for diverse and dynamic voices in comedy.
