About this Event

Meridian Speakers is a friendly, engaging public speaking club based in Greenwich.

But it’s more than just speaking - it's about growth through leadership, listening, learning, and developing both vocal and visual communication skills. Whether you’re new to public speaking or a seasoned speaker, our supportive group is here to help you progress.

Join us to:

  • overcome a fear of public speaking
  • build confidence when presenting to an audience
  • prepare for a specific event, like a wedding speech or important presentation
  • develop communication and leadership skills valuable across many areas of life

We meet twice a month - every 2nd and 4th Tuesday - to practise and strengthen our speaking abilities.

Meridian Speakers is affiliated with Toastmasters International, a global non-profit with over 12,500 clubs worldwide.

Join us at our next meeting - free of charge - as a guest, whether you’d like to participate or just observe!

"Walking through Meridian Speakers door, I was welcomed and introduced to other members which gave me a sense of belonging. The club has a fantastic view of the river Thames overlooking to the beautiful scene of Canary Wharf and by the next meeting, I was a member. My public speaking and leadership skills have been increased at an exponential rate with the encouragement and supportive culture of the club. The valuable knowledge gained has helped me in my professional setting to sequence speeches, give critical feedback and listen carefully."
