BLUE MOON - THE FIRST SUPER MOON OF THE YEAR
HEADTORCH ESSENTIAL
Suitable for all levels of walkers, with or without NW training.
A mindful walk to embrace all that is nature.
Known as the BLUE MOON as it is exceptionally rare.
There are a whole host of reasons for this, and suffice to say it is when we get 13 moons in a seasonal full moon calendar, and the next one will be in May 2027!
So come and enjoy this rare phenomenen on the beautiful Cornish Coast.
A mindful walk to embrace all that is nature.
In July, the Full Moon is called Buck Moon to signify the new antlers that emerge on a deer buck’s forehead around this time.
Male deer, or bucks, shed their antlers and grow new ones every year. Deer belong to the Cervidae family along with elk, moose, reindeer, and other species.
