Full Moon Reset & Meditation
6:30pm-7:45pm | 5:30PM Garden opens one hour before class to explore
Intentions: focus, relaxation, reflection, self-inquiry
Slower Pace, Passive poses | Pranayama | Meditation
Journey inward with a special 75-minute Full Moon Slow Flow and Meditation class led by Samantha Reynolds, on Thursday, May 23 from 6:30-8pm at the peaceful .
This specialized class is crafted to guide you towards stillness through longer-held postures, guided relaxation, pranayama and meditation. The class will culminate in a seated meditation, allowing you to fully embrace the tranquil energy of the full moon. The majority of the poses will be held passively. If you would like to bring props to support your body, you are welcome to bring them. Class is designed for introspection, deep relaxation, clarity and connection. Class is approximately 45 minutes of movement followed by savasana, pranayama, and meditation.
Doors will open at 5:30pm so that you can experience the garden before class. Class begins at 6:30pm on the open-air, terrace of the Schokman Education Center. Garden gates will be locked at 6:40pm. $35 non-members/$25 for NTBG members.

- Location: 4013 South Douglas Rd Miami, FL. Class is rain or shine and will be held at the Shokman Education Center (covered). Free parking at the lot next door. Please allow 5-7 minutes to walk to the main house.

ABOUT THE KAMPONG:
Located on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove, Florida, The Kampong contains a fascinating array of tropical fruit cultivars and flowering trees. Named for the Malay or Javanese word for a village or cluster of houses, The Kampong is the former estate of Dr. David Fairchild, the famed botanical explorer who traveled throughout Southeast Asia and other tropical regions collecting exotic plants he introduced to the U.S.
ABOUT SAMANTHA REYNOLDS
YOGA TEACHER & FOUNDER OF CAFE NAMASTE
Samantha Reynolds, yoga teacher and founder of Miami-based wellness brand Cafe Namaste, brings her unique blend of expertise and inspiration to the Miami community and abroad. With a background in various yoga disciplines and a dedication to holistic wellness, Sam’'s teaching style is inclusive and accessible to both beginners and seasoned practitioners. Her greatest joy is helping people discover their highest potential. Sam envisioned a community for wellness, connection and growth beyond the studio walls.
In addition to events and regulaer classes at the Kampong, Sam offers social outreach initiatives to engage the community in service with local partner non-profits. She is committed to ensuring Cafe Namaste is a holistic brand for personal and social well-being. In her eight years of industry experience, Sam has led and curated wellness programs for esteemed corporations like Hyatt Hotels, Sonesta International, PMG, Ernst & Young, and Capital One Cafe.
Background
After living in four countries and visiting 45+, Sam never imagined that her most significant trip would be the journey inward. Her experiences overseas ultimately led her to study yoga. Prior to transforming her life, Sam worked in Rwanda at a non-profit for orphaned teens (Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village) and in Prague (CZ) for Charles University, creating educational programs on European history for the University of Miami, her alma mater. Sam's commitment to global well-being is underscored by her upcoming 2024 tour to Rwanda, reflecting her dedication to fostering holistic wellness and meaningful connections on an international scale. Education: Sam is an 500-hour Yoga teacher with additional courses in philosophy, trauma-informed yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Yin. Sam earned her Master’s from UM in 2008 with a degree in International Administration and Law.
