GODDESS CIRCLE AMATERASU 天照大御神
Join us to connect to your soul and your body temple during this Full Moon Circle in honor of Amaterasu Ōmikami. In many cultures, the Sun is ruled by a Male God, but in Japan it is a Female Goddess. Amaterasu, the Goddess of the Sun, who rules the heavenly realm as mythical ancestress of the Imperial House of Japan, will be our honorary Full Moon Goddess. Why are we invoking a Sun Goddess during the Full Moon? Because without the Sun, there would be no Moonlight! This Circle represents the balance between conscious and unconscious forces, the yin and yang of life.
The Full Moon is a time of abundance, generosity, and plentitude. As the Full Moon illuminates the night sky we are reminded to tap into our feminine energies, we are provided with an opportunity to become fully open, receptive, and to move through our own cycles and phases in life. It’s also a brilliant time to stop, breathe, and give gratitude to Mother Earth for all that she gives us.
What To Expect:
- Channeling the Flow of the Full Moon through an Amaterasu ritual
- Drawing Down The Moon + Full Moon invocation
- Healing through all of the elements of earth, air, fire, and water, as well as through the full lunar cycle.
- Divination - such as skrying into a mirror
- Oracles / Prophecy - We’ll be working around the themes of the major arcana Moon and Sun cards of the Tarot. During a Full Moon the two lovers, Sun and Moon, are facing each other. The Sun and Moon cards together represent the balance between light and shadow, what we know and what's hidden, joy, and mystery.
- Meditation that will take us into the relationship of Sun and Moon, creating an energetic experience that is cultivated by our breath cycles. Inhaling, filling up, expanding, and energizing like the Full Moon, and exhaling, emptying out, cleansing, and letting go like the wanning Moon.
- Full Moon Light Spell for manifestation & healing
The Circle brings us into safe space where we can stand beside each other… holding, loving, supporting one another as we each answer the call in our own way. Together we have the power to LIFT THE VEILS at this potent moment in time when the light of the Full Moon appears.
