About FRÄNDER

FRÄNDER play modern acoustic folk music forged in the deep forests of northern Sweden. With seductive harmonies, heavy grooves and mesmerizing energy the band create a unique musical landscape filled with mystery and charm.

“FRÄNDER are a breath of fresh Swedish air with a sweet touch of Estonia. Great playing, harmonies, humour… an original and charming Nordic gaggle.” — Derek Andrews

FRÄNDER formed in 2015 with one purpose in mind: to combine their modern influences with the sounds of tradition. They are energized by and find creative freedom within, the expressive modern sound of Nordic folk music and the traditional music of their ancestors. FRÄNDER is not interested in merely reproducing the past but strive to find new ways back into the future. The 5-pc band, tour extensively in Europe, North America, and Japan. Some Canadian festival highlights include Mariposa and Vancouver Island Folk Festival.

About Banthom House

Banthom House is a traditional Irish music band that also plays a mix of bluegrass and folk tunes. The band features Allegra Ludwig on fiddle and vocals, David Otto on mandolin and vocals, Aaron Vega on guitar, cajon, and vocals, and Brett Ambler on stand-up bass. The group of actor-musicians met while performing together in Denver’s musical theatre scene. Since their inception in 2020, they have played to venues and delighted audiences across Colorado. They also released their debut EP, Banthom House, in February of 2022. Boulder’s Daily Camera lauded the five-track mini-album as “showcasing the group’s palpable chemistry, stellar musicianship, and unadulterated passion for a genre that some would consider bygone,” and declared the band “a force to watch.”
