FROME LIONS SPONSORED SWIM 2026Frome Lions are inviting Clubs and organisations in the Frome area to assist them to support 2 local good causes whilst at the same time raise much needed funds for themselves.
This year’s swim is being held on Sunday 8th March 2026 at The Frome Leisure Centre, commencing at 12noon.
The swim is open to all clubs, business houses, schools, associations, youth organisations, family groups etc. There is no limit to the number of teams entered by any one organisation, but no swimmer may enter in more than one team.
Swimming will take place in 25 minute sessions between 12:00 noon and 4:00pm with each member of the team obtaining their own sponsors.
We will commence the afternoon with the pool configured for swimming widths rather than lengths for any team that wishes to swim widths.
The sponsorship money will be shared (50/50) between the teams charity/Club/School funds and Frome Lions Club Charitable Trust. For this years event the Lions will be supporting 2 charities SWEDA – a locally based charity doing vital work supporting those with eating disorders & CHILDREN’S HOSPICE SOUTH WEST.
