A Human-Centered Approach to Leadership

LaToya Jordan is the founder of Lead by Design Lab, a consulting firm specializing in leadership development, executive coaching, team effectiveness, design thinking, and strategic planning. With a Ph.D. in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, she supports clients as they step into leadership roles—ensuring they manage teams from a place of purpose, inclusivity, empathy, and respect, all while showing up as their very best selves. LaToya has coached entrepreneurs, corporate executives, nonprofit leaders, higher education professionals, and dozens of other types of employees across various industries. Leveraging her experience as an adjunct faculty member at Columbia University and Stanford University, LaToya has created and facilitated multiple training programs to aid businesses in sustainable growth.


Ashlee Muhammad is a self love enthusiast, wife, mom & full time entrepreneur. She does many things under that umbrella - she's a designer for her Luxury Streetwear brand, BeEyeConic & a Wardrobe Stylist. Ashlee has been behind some of your favorite artist's performances & tours. She's gone on tour with Cardi B & H.E.R., styling H.E.R.'s background vocalists and band. She's been behind the scenes doing the groundwork for some unforgetting awaard show moments, including:

H.E.R.'s 2020 Grammy Performance
Caradi B's 2018 American Music Award Performance
H.E.R.'s 2022 Grmmy Performance

...just to name a few. She recently worked alineside Marci Rodgers as the Lead Costume Designer Assistant on Usher's MY WAY Las Vegas Residency and even got to design a piece for the legend.

She finds this work very exciting and has a true passion for helping people feel amazing about themselves through wardrobe. Her mission is to change the world, one self esteem at a time.


Nasrin Jafari is the founder and designer of Mixed, a Brooklyn based fashion brand that designs everyday statement-wear. Since launching the brand in the summer of 2021, Nasrin has grown Mixed into a multi-million dollar company, known for its recognizable prints and jumpsuit silhouettes. Formerly a middle school teacher, Nasrin loves sharing what she's learned as a business owner and chatting about all things entrepreneurship!
