About the tutor
Michelle Elvy was recently the 2025 Auckland Council Artist in Residence based at Barr Cottage in Huia. She is an award-winning writer, editor, creative writing teacher and mentor. Her poetry, fiction, travel writing, creative nonfiction and reviews have been widely published. Her books include the experimental novel, the everrumble, the hybrid story collection, the other side of better, and the forthcoming poetry collection, ocean sky marble eye.
