Join FriendZoned for our Volunteer Interest Meeting on Monday, May 26th at 7:00 PM, happening both in person at Black Coffee and virtually for those joining remotely.
FriendZoned is an Atlanta-based organization dedicated to cultivating community and platonic friendships for Black and queer people through intentional gatherings, shared experiences, and meaningful connection. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate volunteers who want to help us scale sustainably while deepening our impact in the community.
We’re seeking support across both front-of-house and back-of-house roles, including event support, hospitality, community engagement, setup and breakdown, logistics, communications, creative support, and more. Whether you love being people-facing or prefer helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you here.
This meeting is an opportunity to learn more about FriendZoned’s mission, upcoming opportunities, volunteer expectations, and ways to get involved in building affirming spaces for Black queer community in Atlanta.
Volunteers must be 21 years or older to participate. Please RSVP to attend. For virtual attendees, the meeting link will be sent via email the day of the event to everyone who has RSVP’d.
