Welcome to the Friends of the Soldiers Home (FOSH) Celebration and Fundraising Dinner! Join us in celebrating the residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home. The event will be held at The Hitching Post Restaurant (200 Upshur Street NW, Washington, DC) on May 9th, 2026 from 7pm to 10pm.
Tickets are priced at $60 a seat with a maximum of 50 seats. Dinner includes plated service of Southern and Gyanese inspired delicacies and 2 tickets toward a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
This is a closed event. Mr. Barry Dindyal, chef and owner of The Hitching Post, has generously agreed to donate a significant portion of the proceeds toward supporting FOSH's work with the Soldiers Home.

Through community events and monthly engagements with the residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home, the Friends of the Soldiers Home (FOSH) is a non-profit, serving to strengthen the bond between the Armed Forces Retirement Home and the surrounding community.
