About this Event
Dr Zoe Strimpel is columnist for the Sunday Telegraph and regular writer for the Spectator, the Jewish Chronicle, and BBC Radio 4. Her academic work concerned the emergence of singleness as a normal life stage in the 1970s, and its interactions with Women's Liberation. Good Slut, her fourth book, is an attempt to break through the bad, illiberal thinking on both the left and right about what's best for women and an argument for why, contrary to the negative discourse, this is the best time in history to be a woman.
