To kick off the 2024 FRESH MEAT FESTIVAL, Fresh Meat Productions is excited to announce a new series of classes on Thursday June 13 at the nearby Joe Goode Annex.
ABOUT THE "KRIMM'S DANCE PARTY!" WORKSHOP
KRIMM'S DANCE PARTY! is a chair-based dance class that centers feel-good music from Marvin Gaye to Sade to Teddy Pendergrass. Taking inspiration from the group and asking them to add to an ever-expanding playlist we are building the night club vibes of our dreams all from the comfort of our chair. There will be gentle stretches and thoughtful articulations as well as simple choreographies that we will build together and maybe even get to perform for one another. This class centers easeful movement, laughter, and a little bit of spice!
ABOUT KIM IP
Kim Ip/"KRIMM" choreographs, directs, produces, and dramaturgically supports the creation of dance works, drag performances, and video. She recently has had the honour of creating site specific works with high schoolers, Chinatown Elders, and the Elders of Crescent Park in Richmond :) Sometimes she does drag. She is ⅙ of ABG (Asian Babe Gang) and loves poetry as much as she loves to be entertained. krimmip.com

- KN95 masks will be provided and required for this event.
- Participants are required to be KN95 masked for the entirety of their time inside the building. Our staff will provide KN95 masks to everyone before they enter the building (unless someone’s disability, chronic illness or health condition means they cannot wear a mask).
- By attending the Fresh Meat Festival, you agree to the following: 1) You do not have any signs of contagious illness (COVID or otherwise), including pink eye, that aren’t fully explained by a non-contagious health condition that you have; and 2) If you have had COVID, it’s been at least 10 days since your first symptoms or positive test if you were asymptomatic.
