For the first time at Fre.Que.Ncy, we’ll be featuring live painting by JASMINE MURPHY.
Prepare to be amazed as she creates in real time, inspired by the energy and music of the night. You’ll also have the rare opportunity to purchase the live piece, along with a selection of her stunning artwork.
Jasmine is a 28-year-old artist from Liverpool who works primarily with oil paint and oil sticks. Growing up in the city, immersed in its music and club culture, has deeply influenced her practice. After spending time working in venues across Liverpool, she became fascinated by how the euphoric, high-energy atmosphere of the dancefloor could be expressed through abstraction.
As Jasmine puts it, “Painting is where I think things through.” While her work often begins with personal experience, she is interested in how it can move beyond autobiography to spark wider conversations about identity, memory, and collective energy. She approaches the canvas as a space where sound, rhythm, and emotion take on visual form - where music becomes physical through gesture, colour, and texture.
We’re beyond excited to experience Jasmine’s live painting in action! . Don’t miss out - grab your tickets now. Please note, this is an intimate venue and tickets will sell out quickly.
Saturday 14 March - be there or hear about it later!
