Freestyle Thirst: Across the Pond

Freestyle Thirst is a space rooted in spontaneous performance art, welcoming artists from all disciplines to come together and create improvised magic.

This month’s showcase is dedicated to the raw, spontaneous energy of improvised music and poetry. Absolutely nothing goes to script, and nobody is prepared - which is exactly how we like it.

The Lineup:

• Your Host: Ted Allpress – Keeping the energy high and the night flowing.
• Headline Act: BS – The freestyle rap heavyweight is hitting the stage with an exclusive, brand-new set.
• Main Support: Pascal Blaschta – Setting the mood with his signature atmospheric, sonic lyricism.
• The Mystery Wildcard: ??? – We left one slot open for the winner of our open submission competition. Who took the crown? You'll have to be in the room to find out.

Whether you're a hip-hop head, a spoken-word lover, or just looking for a genuinely unique night out, this is not one to miss.

How can I be the Mystery Support Act? Think you have what it takes to join the lineup? We are looking for one final artist to round out the night! To enter our open competition:

• The Task: Email a video of yourself improvising (with poetry, rap, singing, instruments, dance etc.) to [email protected].
• The Perk: All applicants receive a 50% discount on their entry ticket just for entering.
• The Grand Prize: The winner gets FREE entry and a 15-minute spotlight slot on the Freestyle Thirst stage!
• SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE: 13:00, Wednesday, 3rd June 2026!

Info: The wicked Ted Allpress will be hosting an open cypher alongside lush beats where ANYONE has the option to join in with some pre writtens, or to improvise their heart out. Participation is optional, not mandatory!

Info: Freestyle Thirst's co-founder and organiser Pascal Blaschta brings his unpredictable energy to the stage, combining strange sounds on his loop station with immersive improv that leaves a lasting impression.
