THE SUFFERS
Houston ensemble The Suffers is redefining the sound of Gulf Coast Soul, weaving together classic American soul, rock and roll, reggae, and hip-hop. The multi-piece group is anchored by the powerhouse voice of lead singer Kam Franklin. With horns blazing and Franklin's voice soaring, they've got a groove that won't let you stand still.
Since bursting onto the national scene with their acclaimed 2015 EP and 2016 self-titled debut, The Suffers have played sold-out shows in Japan and Latin America, performed at prestigious festivals like Newport Folk and Afropunk, and won over audiences everywhere with their live shows.
We are endlessly grateful to all our sponsors who make these events possible!
THANKS TO THEIR SUPPORT, WE'RE HOSTING 50+ FREE EVENTS THIS SUMMER.
