Free Teen & YA Book Swap (Summer Edition)
After a successful first event, we’re bringing back the book swap at Kensington Central Library for teens and young adults.
Join us in person for our Summer Teen & YA Book Swap - a fun event where you can refresh your summer reading list and discover new favourites. Bring your gently used books and swap them for new reads. There will also be giveaways, a raffle, and plenty of fun for everyone!
Whether you're into crime, thrillers, mystery, or romance, there’s something for every reader - so don’t miss this opportunity to meet new people and discover some amazing stories.
How does it work?
Bring anywhere between 2 - 5 books and exchange them for other books (fiction or non-fiction). You can choose whichever books you’d like to take home.
You’re welcome to donate more than 5 books, but you will only be allowed to take a maximum of 5 books in return. All genres are welcome, but books must be in good condition - no stains, pen marks or tears, please.
Please try to bring books that you would be happy to find at the swap yourself or that others would find interesting.
No book? No problem!
We’ll have spares available, so you’re still very welcome to come along and join in.
Drop off
16:00 – 16:30 You can drop off books in advance or bring them during the event.
*We have a donation box in the library, in case you would like to donate teen/YA books without attending the book swap.
Disclaimer
Only bring the books you are happy to part with, as once they are handed in, you may not be able to get them back. Any books not exchanged after the event will be donated to charity.
