Free Form Community Dance

We welcome people of all ages to join us for a night of free form expression to a live DJ set. We aim to create a safe space for intergenerational play and redical self-expression.

Our warm up this week is an introductory Contact Improvisation (CI) session. You'll explore movement through weight-sharing, physical contact and spontaneous interaction. No prior experience is needed—just a curiosity to connect with others. Come discover how CI fosters trust, presence, and embodied creativity in a supportive environment!

As soon as you enter the space, you are invited to let go of judgements and expectations, and allow yourself to feel your emotions, sensations, body, mind, and spirit. Info: Guided somatic warm up and introduction to contact improvisation. The purpose of this time is to ground into your space, connect with your emotional body and expand your movement vocabulary with self and other.

Info: We gather together to set the container for the evening, we ask you attend for this time to create a container of mutual understanding and respect.

Info: Rotating artist will play a 90 minute sound journey
