--- FREE TASTER CLASS ---
Forró Sundays is an evening of forró classes and social dancing in Vauxhall, London, organised by Brazilian dance school Forró Academy.
Never heard of forró? Think salsa, but with a Brazilian twist!
On Sundays, we have two levels of forró dance classes, followed by a free party/social:
- 17:00-18:00 - Beginner Class
- 18:00-19:00 - Intermediate Class
- 19:00-21:00 - DJ Set
- 21:00-23:00 - Live music
You don't need to bring a partner, and no previous dance experience is required to join our class for beginners. Forró Academy provides a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone to improve their skills and make new friends.
Each class is £12.50 per person, but if it's your first class with Forró Academy, you may be able to book a taster class for FREE by booking in advance via Eventbrite (please note that only a limited number of free taster places are available for each class).
-- PARTY (live band & DJ) --
Following the classes there will be a party, with a DJ set and live music. Entry to the party is free when you attend one of the dance classes beforehand.

Tia Maria Bar and Kitchen (www.tiamarialondon.com) is a well-known hub for Brazilian culture in London. As well as as hosting a variety of Brazil-related events, the venue serves up delicious Brazilian food 7 days a week and is a popular meeting place for the Brazilian community and anyone interested in Brazilian culture.
