A little about me (Nicole owner of rhythmic roots lessons)
Hi, I’m Nicole — the heart behind Rhythmic Roots Music Lessons. I’m a Queens University of Charlotte graduate (Class of 2021) with over nine years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and older adults in a variety of educational and community-based settings.Rhythmic Roots was created from a belief that music should feel accessible, encouraging, and rooted in connection — not pressure. My goal is to create a space where students of all ages feel seen, supported, and excited to grow through music, no matter where they’re starting from.I hold a degree in music therapy, which deeply influences my teaching approach. While I am not a board-certified music therapist, the principles from my training shape the way I work with students across a wide range of ages, abilities, and learning styles.
