Goldsmiths, University of London will be hosting a screening of Framing Agnes, a film that reimagines the lives of trans people whose stories were obscured in mid-century gender research archives. Following the screening, there will be a 45-minute Q&A with writer and artist Morgan M. Page, one of the film’s creators. Morgan will discuss the film’s development, its themes, and its importance for trans storytelling and visibility.
About Morgan M. Page: Morgan M Page is a writer, historian, and filmmaker based in London. She is the co-writer of the feature film Framing Agnes and the trans history book Boys Don't Cry, executive produced the series Harsh Reality: the Miriam Rivera Story, and is the host of the podcast One from the Vaults. As an historian, she's appeared in documentaries like Eldorado (Netflix) and Enigma (HBO).
