About this Event
Join Loco por la Aventura in collaboration with Forest Park Conservancy’s Nature’s Education Program for a meaningful and accessible hiking experience in one of Portland’s most iconic natural spaces.
This guided, entry-level hike is designed for individuals and families looking to connect with nature, learn about the environment, and be part of a welcoming, culturally inclusive outdoor experience.
Led by knowledgeable guides, participants will explore Forest Park while learning about local wildlife, native plants, and the history of the area. Spanish translation will be provided to ensure accessibility for Spanish-speaking participants.
This experience blends guided hiking, nature interpretation, and community connection, with the opportunity to incorporate a post-hike wellness or engagement activity.

Meeting Point: Upper Macleay Trailhead (Shuttle Stop)
A free shuttle service will be available on the day of the event, allowing participants to access the meeting point without needing to drive directly to the trailhead. Participants may park in nearby areas or designated locations and take the shuttle to the meeting point.
