About this Event

Join Loco por la Aventura in collaboration with Forest Park Conservancy’s Nature’s Education Program and Friends of Forest Park for a meaningful and accessible hiking experience in one of Portland’s most iconic natural spaces.

This guided, entry-level hike is designed for individuals and families looking to connect with nature, learn about the environment, and be part of a welcoming, culturally inclusive outdoor experience.

Led by knowledgeable guides, participants will explore Forest Park while learning about local wildlife, native plants, and the history of the area. Spanish translation will be provided to ensure accessibility for Spanish-speaking participants.

This experience will be guided by Robin and Anya, longtime technicians from the Backyard Habitat Certification Program, who will share their expertise on native ecosystems, seasonal flora, and the interconnected web of life within Forest Park.

This experience blends guided hiking, nature interpretation, and community connection, with the opportunity to incorporate a post-hike wellness or engagement activity.

The official name of the hike will be shared soon.
