About this Event

This Forest Bathing Walk & Sencha Tea Ritual Experience invites you to step away from everyday busyness and enjoy a slower pace in a woodland setting. Moving unhurriedly through the forest, you’ll be guided through gentle forest bathing invitations and nature connection practices that support mindful walking, sensory awareness, and shared moments of quiet. The experience concludes with a sencha tea ritual inspired by Japanese tea traditions, offering a calm, grounding pause to reflect and reconnect.

What to Expect:

Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku)

The experience begins with a guided forest bathing walk led by a Certified Nature and Forest Bathing Guide. Gentle sensory invitations support you to slow down and notice the forest through sight, sound, scent, and touch. This mindful walk encourages relaxation and presence, helping you feel grounded and at ease as you move through the forest.

On this guided journey, you will:

  • Engage your senses through mindful observation
  • Take part in gentle nature connection invitations
  • Experience the calming effects of slowing down
  • Leave feeling refreshed and more present

Sencha Tea Ritual

The forest bathing walk concludes with a sencha tea ritual shared together outdoors. Rooted in Japanese tea traditions, this ritual offers a gentle opportunity to experience the practice of mindful tea drinking after your walk. Tea is prepared and enjoyed slowly, inviting you to savor warmth, aroma, and taste in a calm, welcoming setting.

This part of the experience includes:

  • Time to pause and settle after the forest walk
  • A guided sencha tea ritual with an introduction to mindful preparation
  • Sampling Japanese sencha tea
  • Space for quiet reflection and shared conversation
