Football Alumni of Michigan (FAM) is bringing a piece of Ann Arbor to Chicago for the Wolverine Legends Tailgate Fundraiser at Wrigley Field! Party with fellow alumni, fans, and former Michigan Football players from the past five decades before cheering on Team 146 as they take on the Northwestern Wildcats. Plus, The Big 1050 WTKA with Sam Webb and Ira Weintraub will be broadcasting live from the bar with plenty of special guests. Join us three hours before the start of the game for live entertainment, giveaways, an open buffet, cash bar, and the opportunity to mingle with the players you've spent your life watching every Saturday (and Sunday!).
Proceeds and donations from this event go directly toward Wolverine Hope, a Football Alumni of Michigan initiative providing confidential mental health support to former athletes. Since launching in Fall 2024, this free, 24/7 service has helped dozens of Michigan Football alumni and their families navigate mental health challenges - connecting them with talk therapy, psychiatric care, and addiction counseling. With your help, FAM is fundraising to make this service available to all former student-athletes at the University of Michigan, significantly expanding the impact of Wolverine Hope.
The Football Alumni of Michigan (FAM) is the official home for those who have worn the winged helmet and those who supported the team throughout our storied history as the winningest football program in the country. FAM is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that engages, inspires, and unites our past, present, and future Michigan Football alumni to be the leaders and best. We do this through providing healthcare, legal, career, and financial assistance to our teammates in need and creating opportunities for our members to network with our community of nearly 800 members across the globe and counting. Additionally, FAM provides opportunities for alumni and their families to give back through community service projects and partnerships with other non-profit organizations.
