About this Event

Cruisin’ for Kids with Sickle Cell Charity Ride

Supporting Camp Jubilee

For nearly two decades, the Floyd “Windy City” Simpson Cruisin’ for Kids with Sickle Cell Charity Ride has united riders, families, and supporters around one powerful mission: sending children living with sickle cell disease to Camp Jubilee.

Taking place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, this annual ride is Camp Jubilee’s primary fundraiser and a cherished tradition across the Dallas–Fort Worth area and neighboring states. What began as a small act of service has grown into a community-driven movement rooted in compassion, connection, and lasting impact.

All proceeds from the ride support Camp Jubilee, a week-long summer camp held each July that provides a medically supported, no-cost experience for children with sickle cell disease. At camp, children are free to simply be kids—building confidence, friendships, and joy in an environment where they are understood and supported.

It costs approximately $750 to send one child to camp, and every dollar raised helps remove financial barriers for families so they never have to choose between care and opportunity. Camp Jubilee relies entirely on charitable support, and contributions directly impact the children, medical staff, and volunteers who make this life-changing experience possible.

Camp Jubilee is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. In-kind donations are also welcome and will be featured in raffles held at the conclusion of the ride, with all proceeds benefiting the camp.

Whether you ride, donate, or simply spread the word, your support helps continue a 19-year tradition of hope, belonging, and transformation for children living with sickle cell disease.

Join us and be part of something that truly changes lives.
