FLOW TRIBE
Founded in 2004, Flow Tribe was solidified in the wake of Hurricane Katrina's destruction with the mission to bring the next generation of the New Orleans' sound of unstoppable rhythm and passion to the world. The next 15 years would find Flow Tribe performing over 120 shows a year crossing the country multiple times from the biggest festival stages to the nicest venues.
Flow Tribe is made of six seasoned blue-collar musicians who grind out the good times. They carry on the tradition of following the highway to wherever the next crowd congregates. Always full of energy and ready to go with a sound that is sure to get your backbone cracking and feet moving. The soul of the Crescent City can be heard in their high-energy sound and performance while the passion and love of New Orleans is evident in their demeanor and performance. Flow Tribe will bring the soul, funk, and fire to a crowd through various genres of music ranging from soul, funk, blues, rock, and so much more. At the heart of each tune is their passion for the beautiful music of New Orleans and the melting pot of influences can be heard in their music and performance.

BACKBEAT UNDERGROUND
Backbeat Underground occupies the liminal space between funk and jazz, between DC's deep rhythmic pulses and the agitation of a new soul sound. The six-piece horn-fronted outfit plays throughout the DMV area, from the Kennedy Center to apartment rooftops, to corner bars. Respected by peers, their latest EP pays tribute to the quiet radicalism of taking up space, as seen through the "Don't Mute DC" movement and LA's Mutual Housing Association project. They appear on stage and collaborate with the modern giants of the genre, such as multi-grammy winners Ghost-Note and The New Mastersounds.

For any wheelchair or ADA needs, please contact the Box Office in advance of the performance at (202)-787-1000.
Please note that the front row of tables and chairs will be cleared for this show to create a general admission Pit. Be advised that there may be some seated areas where vision of the stage is obstructed.
