About this Event
The (ARI) brings together researchers, people with lived experience, industry and government to address the challenges faced by autistic people through innovative, transdisciplinary research.
Over the past year, ARI has moved from concept to structure. The Initiative has taken shape, with its leadership and inaugural members appointed and its first collaborations underway. Across Flinders University, researchers are beginning to connect in new ways, building the foundations for long-term impact.
We are excited to be commemorating ARI’s official launch, a moment to strengthen our reach and deepen engagement with industry, community organisations, policy makers and the autism community.
This event brings into one space:
• The lived experience that guides us
• The industry and community partners who support and shape our work
• Researchers working across disciplines
• And all those committed to creating meaningful change
You will hear an opening address from the Honourable Lucy Hood, Minister for Autism, together with perspectives from university leadership, researchers and lived experience advocates.
We hope you can join us for this autism-inclusive event as we mark an important milestone and build momentum for what comes next.
