Fiárock Launches Their Debut Album An Tús
Fiárock, a traditional Irish band that spans both sides of the Atlantic, is set to release their anticipated debut album, An Tús, in early 2026. One of their launches will be at the famous Irish traditional pub/venue, The Cobblestone in Smithfield, Dublin. This stunning compilation of thirteen tracks puts their vibrant energy, technical mastery, and immaculate arranging on full display.

The lineup of Fiárock spans both sides of the Atlantic, and each member brings with them the traditions and influences of their varied regions and backgrounds.

Masterful Arrangements
The album (and this performance) showcases the band’s atypical instrumentation of concertina, banjo, piano and bodhrán, with both traditional and newly composed tunes, and intricate arrangements throughout. Sets often leap from one tune type to another, and melodies flow fluidly from instrument to instrument, all the while supported by rich harmonies and an air-tight rhythm. There is also a wonderful balance between instrumental sets and songs, with Irish, English, and Mexican folk songs led by the stunning voice of Nicolle Fig.
