This workshop will provide you with helpful tools, education and insight into buying a home in the competitive Bay Area housing market. We believe housing should be more accessible, yet the system wasn't designed with everyone in mind. Our goal is to help you understand what accessibility can look like for you.

We will be covering:

• Various lender programs, including options specifically designed for first-time homebuyers
• How to prepare financially if you're self-employed or a 1099 independent contractor
• The difference between renting vs owning
• Some of the often overlooked or "hidden" costs that come with purchasing a home
• What to look for when building your dream team
• Resources and contribution-based initiatives that directly support local, Indigenous communities
