Free jazz, contemporary classical music, noise, free improvised music, ethnic music, folk music, hardcore, jazz, electronica, minimalist and maximalist music; everything is inherent in the organism we call Fire!Orchestra. Their latest project ECHOES is a work of epic proportions. Full of beauty, energy, obsessive passages and an incomparable musicianship.
After 13 years and at least six different incarnations 2025 sees a new version of the band, playing WORDS. The music is all new, but some of the fundamentals stay the same: a steady groove and conduction by Mats Gustafsson. On these basics every concert is different, with ever changing groupings of players.
