Fire Cadet and High School Career Fair

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) invites you to join us at EFRS Training Academy for two career fairs in one!

For anyone interested in the Edmonton Fire Cadet program, please join us to learn about the application process and programming details. This event will be an excellent opportunity to speak with current and former cadets, as well as EFRS' cadet coordinator.

For those current and former cadets, as well as any high school student, come talk to local post-secondary schools that offer programs that assist you with becoming a full-time professional firefighter. Programs like Medical First Response (MFR), Advanced First Aid (AFA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1001, and emergency communications courses from schools such as MacEwan University, NAIT, the Emergency Services Academy and many more.

Please Note:

• A ticket is only required if you would like to attend the cadet coordinator’s presentation and Q&A for the Edmonton Fire Cadet program.
• Due to space considerations, only one family member can join the student during the presentation.
• Only the student needs a ticket. The accompanying family member does not. 
• Please ensure that you meet the requirements of a prospective applicant prior to booking a ticket. You can check your eligibility here.
•  There are limited spots available so please sign up quickly.
• Please select one session only. 40 persons per session:

• 5:15pm - 5:45pm
• 6:00pm - 6:30pm
• 6:45pm - 7:15pm
• 7:30pm - 8:00pm
• 8:15pm - 8:45pm
• 8:20pm - 8:50pm
