Film Tampa Bay Presents is a quarterly series designed to showcase Tampa Bay-area films, filmmakers, actors, and locations through FREE community screenings at Tampa Theatre. This special Martin Luther King Jr. Day event includes a short film presentation curated by writer and filmmaker Cranstan Cumberbatch, and a screening of the WEDU feature documentary TRIUMPH: Tampa’s Untold Chapter in the Civil Rights Movement.
Guests are invited to stay after the screening for a panel discussion and audience Q&A with the filmmakers.
This event is FREE and open to the public, but ticket reservation is required. And thanks to the sponsorship of Film Tampa Bay, the first 150 guests to enter will receive a FREE popcorn and soda!
