After surviving a massacre in which police killed 10 landless rural workers, the key witness and his lawyer fight for justice and the right to land.

By following their paths over seven years in the Amazon region of Pará, the film reveals shocking events that point to a possible attempt to cover up the crime. “Pau d’Arco” premiered at the É Tudo Verdade International Documentary Film Festival 2025 and won the Jury Prize in the Ecospeaker Showcase.

Directed by Ana Aranha, the film is a production of Repórter Brasil and Amana Cine in co-production with RioFilme.
