Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the heaviest stash of 2026 #FiestaMedals of them all! Join us for the Fiesta Medal Heavyweight Showdown to find out!While Fiesta 2026 will have drawn to an end, we have one more event for all you Medal Maniacs and Medal Heads: the SA Flavor Fiesta Medal Heavyweight Showdown!
Here are the rules for the event—please note that this is a contest that’s designed to be fun. If we feel the contest is being gamed, we may introduce modifications to ensure the spirit of the contest: to see who has the heaviest Fiesta Medal Collection of them all!
DIVISIONS:
There are three divisions, each with a first, second and third place:
*Ages 0 – 17
*Ages 18 – 50
*Ages 51+
The division winner with the heaviest collection will be crowned the Fiesta Medal Heavyweight Champion of the World and receive a wrestling title belt!
RULES:
•Only manufactured (no handmade) medals from 2026 are allowed to be entered.
•Only one of each medal may be entered—you cannot have multiples of a single medal.
•For clarification, if a medal has fundamentally the same design, but multiple plating types (such as silver, gold, or black like our Ozzy Fiesta Forever medals), only one of those medals can be entered.
•For clarification, if a medal has fundamentally the same design, but multiple colorways (such as our Vics VapoDunk), only one of those medals can be entered.
•If, however, a major element of the design is unique, multiple versions can be entered. This would best be illustrated by our SA Flavor Fiestamon medals—while the base card shares the same characteristics, there are ten unique designs that can be entered.
•The medals should have the date on them, whether it be on the medal itself (front and back), the ribbon, or dangle.
•We reserve the right to accept or reject any medals.
DAY OF THE COMPETITION
•The competition is from 10am to 1pm at the SA Flavor Store at 11255 Huebner Rd, Ste 203, San Antonio, TX 78230. When you get to the store, please check in so we can get your name down on the list to weigh.
•Please bring all your medals already removed from your sash, vest, jacket, or board—all medals must be loose.
•We will place them in a red basket to get the “quick weight.”
•If the weight appears to be in the top 3, we will then manually check through each of the medals to ensure adherence to the guidelines listed above. Please be mindful of those rules and try to adhere to them.
•If you come to weight your medals, you will be given a ticket to enter a raffle for prizes—you need not be present to win.
•We will have small prizes for the top three in each category—but the greatest thing you will win is bragging rights.
•REMEMBER: this is all for fun! We have the final say on what medals are accepted or not.
•FINALLY: All participants fairly acknowledge they are submitting their own collections. While this is something we cannot really *enforce* we hope that participants will comply for the spirit of this competition!
