We meet at Liverpool Street Station and visit the Whitechapel/Spitalfields area which in 1888 was the scene known to Scotland Yard as the Whitechapel Incident of 1888. Perhas better known as the murders of Jack the Ripper. Without doubt, the most famous set of murders in the world. The walk will include visiting some of the murder sites and hearing the stories, as well as learning about the living conditions of the poor in this area at the time. There are over 200 theories of who Jack the Ripper was.Walkers to make their own way to Liverpool Street Station and meet at the Kinder Transport statue inside the station, outside the main tube entrance by 9.50am to then go and meet the guide, Gary Egerton. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and comfortable walking shoes.
